Go to the Search Maps section and swipe the section up to reveal a broader list of options.
At the bottom, you’ll see a button called Share My Location; click on this.

How to Share Your Location in Apple Maps on iPad
When sharing your location in Apple Maps on your iPad, the process is slightly different. Below, you’ll see the steps that you need to follow:
1. Open Apple Maps on your iPad.
2. On the left-hand side, you’ll see a toolbar. This section has the same tools that you can access if you swipe up in Maps on your iPhone.
3. Select Share My Location; it’s close to the bottom of the toolbar.

Apple Maps for macOS has quite a different layout to the iPad and iPhone versions. Unlike the other two, you won’t see the Share My Location button as clearly.

2. On the map, you’ll see your location. Click on the blue dot.
