Let us first show you how to enable the feature to take Live Photos in FaceTime video calls on your iPhone. Do note that the Live Photos feature in your iPhone camera app is different from FaceTime Live Photos.

Step 1: Open the Settings app and tap on FaceTime.

Step 2: Scroll down and tap the toggle next to FaceTime Live Photos to enable the feature.

After you enable it, you can tap the shutter icon at the bottom-left corner of the FaceTime call window to click the Live Photo.

Once you have enabled FaceTime Live Photos, they will appear in the Photos app. A separate folder is not created for these photos. You need to open the Photos app on your iPhone, select Library, and tap on All Photos at the bottom. Then, you can view your FaceTime Live Photos.

Step 1: Open the Photos app and select the Albums tab at the bottom.

Step 2: Tap the Plus icon at the top-left corner and select New Album.

4. Force Quit and Relaunch Photos App
If you cannot see your FaceTime Live Photos in the Photos app, you can try force quitting and relaunching the app on your iPhone.

Step 1: On the home screen, swipe up and hold to repeat the background app windows.

Step 2: Swipe right to look for the Photos app and swipe up to remove the app window.

Step 3: Relaunch the Photos app and check if you can see the FaceTime Live Photos.

5. Update iOS Version
Since both FaceTime and the Photos app are system apps, you canupdate the iOS version on your iPhone model.

Step 1: Open the Settings app and tap on General.
